The Xperia Z3 Compact stands at 127.3 x 64.9 x 8.6 mm and has a weight of 129 grams, which means that the handset really is a compact and light device, being comfortable to manage with one hand and easy to slip into pockets.

The Xperia Z3 Compact is loaded with the latest and greatest from Android, v4.4.4 KitKat, which has been nicely customized by Sony. The interface is friendly and very capable, offering you a plethora of features and options for customizing your handset, making for a great user experience. In terms of hardware, the Xperia Z3 Compact holds inside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, having a quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be upgraded with a microSD card of up to 128 GB. The handset is an excellent performer and will offer you a smooth experience that has nothing to do with lagging, freezing or other similar issues.

Regarding its connectivity capabilities, the Xperia Z3 Compact has support for quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE, quad-band or penta-band 3G (depending on the region), LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac with DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE and A2DP, NFC and microUSB 2.0 with On-the-go and MHL support.

One of the most important activities that we use our smartphone for is surfing the web. The Xperia Z3 Compact has you well taken care of with Google Chrome, which is the default browser, offering you a great experience due to its numerous features and options.

The Xperia Z3 Compact is also a great tool for taking pictures. It holds a 20.7 MP snapper with autofocus that captures stills with a maximum resolution of 5248 x 3936 pixels, has a 1/2.3” sensor, features image stabilization, HDR and much more. The Xperia Z3 Compact holds a lot more other goodies on board and I’ll be naming only a few, those that I consider to be the most important. It holds a GPS receiver with support for GLONASS and A-GPS which uses Google Maps for navigation, an FM Radio with RDS support, the Office Suite 7 for managing document files, a File Manager, the Walkman audio player, which is very capable and has a lot of features, a great video player, which supports the majority of popular formats and much more.

The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery and will last most than 3 days under a moderate usage, which is quite amazing to say the least!
